GRUB and File Systems
ext2 file system
minix file system
reiser file system
FAT file system
ffs file system
Notes:
GRUB recognises these file systems,
and it can look at and load files from
anywhere inside them. So if you make
a new kernel which doesn't work, and
you kept the old kernel, but forgot to
put it into a LILO config file, you can
use GRUB to boot from your old
kernel.
