GRUB, written in texinfo, so you can
browse them with HTML or info
browsers. The main mainual gives you
a basic introduction, a reference
manual, and a technical guide. I find
all of them very complete, clear, and
accurate, though sometimes the
English betrays an author's foreign
origin.
